16 oz Insulated Cocktail Shaker

The Defiance Tools 16 oz Insulated Cocktail Shaker is a must-have for any mixologist or bartender. Especially those that enjoy mixing cocktails for friends and family, but don't like their hand getting frostbite from holding a standard cocktail shaker.

Defiance Tools comes to the rescue with their 16 oz Insulated Cocktail Strainer made of double wall, vacuum sealed stainless steel.  It keeps your hands warm and your drink cold for over 9 hours.  This shaker features a jigger cap and a built-in strainer, with a food grade silicone seal that keeps the cocktail inside while you're shaking it.

The 3.5" opening in the 16 oz Insulated Cocktail Shaker is also big enough to stir a cocktail with a Hoffman spoon if your customer prefers stirred...not shaken.

For the serious mixologist, we recommend ordering the Defiance Tools 2 oz Trophy Style Solid Base Bell Jigger as well, so you can start to build a full professional set.

Good shaker

Gift for my husband...he likes it very well, just wishes the lid was insulated too.

Great Gift

I bought this as a gift and it has been used several times very successfully. The insulation is nice, so your hands don't freeze while making drinks.

Small but nice

Good for one cocktail but just a bit small for two. And the top lid (not the strainer part but the little kid on top) could be a bit tighter. Good news is no vapor lock! The strainer kid comes off great! I ordered two more for friends.

Brilliant idea long overdue. It works!

My old cocktail shaker has been unceremoniously retired. This insulated shaker just works better on several levels. Drinks stay cool. Hands remain harm, and it doesn’t leak. Even the cap stays in place. I suspect that thrift Shop charities like GoodWill will have a plethora of the leaky bone-chilling models from the 1950’s at bargain prices…. but resist the frugal temptation to buy them -- get one of these instead! Your guests might not notice the shaker shake-up, but you will! Then tell them where you got it. Brilliant practical ideas need to be supported and shared.
