This is a Stanley No. 66 1/2 Boxwood Rule. It is a Three Foot, Four-Fold model which is 1/2 inch wide. This model is made with an extra-strong brass Arch Joint. It's in very good condition will all the original pins in place.
This model is stamped with Stanley Rule & Level company which merged with Stanley Hardware in 1920 to become the Stanley Works. This means that this Stanley No. 66 1/2 Folding Rule is at least 100 years old. In 2010 the Stanley Works merged with Black & Decker to become Stanley Black & Decker.
Each tool had been carefully cleaned using orange pumice hand cleaner and the brass parts have been polished using Simicrome Polish.
The Stanley folding rule is perfect to display as a work of art or you can give it a job in your workshop.
